Two goals from Sevilla, one own goal from Ramos and two penalties one was scored and one was scored and hence Real Madrid lost to Sevilla.
This match was an interesting one. Real Madrid was playing without Cristiano Ronaldo and Keylor Navas and their weaknesses were exposed.
Sevilla played so well in the first half and they dominated Reaal Madrid. There were two goals scored by Sevilla in that half one by Wissam Ben Yedder in the 26th minute of the match and the second one was scored by Miguel Layun in the 45th minute of the match.
After the halftime, Real Madrid tried so hard to score and they had chances but did not make the best out of those opportunities. Sergio Ramos missed a penalty by hitting it high on the bar in the 58th minute of the match. This shows you why it is important for Ronaldo to be in the team to score penalties, but still, Ramos is a great player and sometimes you miss those chances.
Another goal was conceived by Real Madrid and I said conceived is because it was an own goal from Sergio Ramos he dives to stop across and ended getting the ball in his own goal.
Real Madrid scored their first goal in the 87th minute of the match when Asensio crossed the ball from the free kick position and Moya Borja Mayoral heads it into the goal. After that in the injury time Real Madrid was given another penalty and this time Sergio Ramos did not miss and Real Madrid was able to somewhat shorten the gap between two teams.
If this Real Madrid will play like that in the Finale which is coming against Liverpool then they will be severely punished by the English team, hopefully, Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury is not that serious so he wont miss the game.
