The Champions of World Cup 2014, Germany has announced their preliminary squad for the 2018 World Cup.
The head coach Joachim Low has also added some of the heroes of 2014 Brazil world cup in the squad, which includes the likes of Jerome Boateng, Mats Hummels, Mesut Ozil, Thomas Muller, and Manuel Neuer, although there is doubt about the legendary goalkeeper’s injury status he has been added. What Low said about his squad “In some positions, we have an extremely large choice, but in others not. Therefore we need players who are flexible and can be used in various positions,”
One odd thing in the squad is that Mario Gotze is not added in the qualifying squad by the Germany coach.
