Colombian Football Federation has also announced the preliminary squad for FIFA world cup 2018 in Russia.
11 players in the squad are from the squad that played in Brazil in the 2014 World Cup., which includes James Rodriguez, David Ospina, Carlos Sanchez, Abel Aguilar and Cristian Zapata. Colombia is in Group H and they will be up against Japan (19 June), Poland (24 June) and Senegal (28 June) in Russia.
