African match officials For Russia 2018 World Cup

FIFA Referees Committee has selected 16 match officials from Africa. These match officials will be giving their duties in the Russia World Cup 2018. They consist of 6 referees and 10 assistants. For world cup 2018 there were Thirty-Six referees and Sixty Three assistant referees selected representing 46 different countries around the world.

The officials were selected based on each referee’s skills and personality and also their ability to understand the tactics deployed by the teams and the understanding of the game.
