After the heartbreaking and horrible 7-1 defeat from Germany in their own country, Brazil went into the qualifying round of the world cup 2018 with determination and with a hope to regain their respect in a game which they dominated over the years. Their hard work paid off and they qualified for Russia by arriving at the top in South American qualifiers and also went 2nd on the FIFA International rankings.
The people of Brazil have always been very passionate about football and after the disappointment, this was a relief for them and they are now looking forward to seeing their team do well in the tournament. Brazil also one of the top 5 teams that could win the World Cup.
Winning is also not new for Brazil as they have won 5 World Cup titles, 4 Confederations cup titles and 7 Copa America trophies. Winning is not a choice for Brazil – it is in their core when it comes to Soccer.
There was a huge concern for them when their new star and best striker Neymar got injured but now as he has recovered and is ready to play, it’s all good for Brazil.
One thing that is very good for Brazil this year is that they are not heavily relying on one player like Neymar, all of their players are playing best in their positions and they are complete as a team. There are experienced Players like Dani Alves and Marcelo in the squad and the new players for the team like Casemiro and Gabriel Alves and Philippe Coutinho and Willian make this team full of resources, this team knows how to pass the ball how to defend the play and certainly how they are going to attack the opposition.
Brazil Coach (Adenor Leonardo Bacchi)
Dunga was the coach of Brazil at the start of the campaign and players were not playing good soccer at that time and they were not in a good position at the qualifiers. But the arrival of Tite completely changed it for Brazil. The rivals were again afraid of Brazil and the players were getting their form back, he pushed confidence into the players And then Brazil was the first one to qualify for the World Cup 2018.
The Star player of Brazil (Neymar Jr)
Neymar is arguably considered one of the top 5 players that are playing on this planet right now, he is the best player in Brazil at this time, but the question which is important is that he was not able to play half of the season for his club (PSG) because of a fracture and is recovering but not still 100 percent in his own words. So how well he will be able to use his creative skills and talents to move Brazil forward in the world cup will be a challenge for him.
Group E: Brazil, Switzerland, Costa Rica & Serbia
Brazil is in group E of and they will be playing teams like Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia. Last time in world cup Costa Rica was very tough for Brazil and other two teams though may not be a big threat for in form Brazilian team but they can pose a problem if Brazil tries to take them lightly because in world cup every player of every team gives their all. Brazil is still the most favorite team to came top in the group stage.
